Last night, on a balmy sunny evening in Castlemartyr, the u16 hurlers took on Kilta Óg in what was a cracker of a game. 
The intensity was evident from the off and both teams gave it their all. At half time, Blarney were trailing by 1 point. 
However, they game back and played a wonderfully cohesive 2nd half. Each and every player played their part and there were some fabulous passages of play and fantastic scores. Despite leading by 4 points with 5 minutes to go in ordinary time, Kilta fought back and it was a drawn game early in injury time. The tension was palpable as both teams upped the ante! Blarney were awarded a free and a mighty point secured the game in their favour.
