We witnessed a very special day on the pitch this week when The Blarney Primary School and Gaelscoil Mhuscrai played one another in the Sciath Na Scoil competition in both the Hurling and Camogie.

Gaelscoil Mhuscrai won the Camogie match, with some wonderful skill shown by the girls on both teams.

We had a dramatic encounter in the Hurling with both teams being very evenly matched, and couldn’t be separated at the end resulting in the match ending in a draw.

A marvellous occasion was enhanced by the attendance of the pupils of both schools adding to the great atmosphere on the day.
