Our u12 boys had a fantastic game on Friday night resulting in them being victorious over Erin's Own in the Hurling Shield Final. Blarney were a step ahead from the get go, having scored an early goal. By half time, Erin's Own had pulled the early lead back to 1 point - half time score was Blarney 2-4 to Erin's Own 1-6. The second half was a cracker and our boys showed fierce determination and were taking every opportunity to score. In the end, Blarney pulled ahead and secured a great victory. Wonderful team work on display throughout - a joy to watch!
To finish off the evening there was a car parade through Blarney village which was a first for this team. Hopefully the first of many!
